Is GuzziDiag available for 2015 V7II? If so which versions (ECU , reader/writer), cables etc etc? I would not like to order up the wrong parts nor spend a small fortune. |

yep download the reader and writer for the MIUG3 ecu and the correct cables to use can be found here https://www.lonelec.co.uk/Motorbike-OBD-Diagnostic-Cables/Guzzidiag-Melcodiag-Ducatidiag-Hardware/Guzzidiag-Melcodiag-3pin-Interface-Cable. thats all you need to use diagnostics but if you intend on remapping you'll also need a free program called tunerpro

Ok - thanks. I'm now officially confused. First I want to examine what's what but then I may want to modify the map around the bottom end to improve pick-up from idle. Injector idle is usually weak to meet emissions, hence flat-spot. I'm familiar with Power Commander. I have Windows laptop. Which of these many many files do I need?

on the website mentioned in the second post underneath where it says
GuzziDiag V0.47it says program, download the one that says windows underneath that. that is the guzzi diagnostic software and works for lots of different guzzis (a few dukes as well). in order to download your current map onto your computer to view/change it you will need a reader and to put a new map onto the bike you will need a writer. the v7II ses the MIUG3 ecu so if you scroll down further untill you reach that section of the website then download the reader and writer program for windows thats everything you need bar the cables. also the v7II has some differences to the example in your posted tutorial as the CO trim cant be modified and you dont reset the throttle but relearn it instead. i have a guide specifically for the v7II differences from another website but dont know how to post pdfs

Thanks. By about the third time I read that through it was beginning to make sense. I must be getting old and rather stupid. Let's see if I've got this right. GuzziDiag V0.47 IAWMIUG3Reader v0.04 IAWMIUG3Writer v0.03 Cables |

You can buy a map from Mark Bayley in Australia. His website is called griso.org I think. He is incredibly helpful and there are several members of the V7 Facebook group who have changed the map on their V7 Mk 11 bikes very successfully.
