Ah - lost in translation. Not terms I'm familiar with. Obviously we don't have NA versions and don't refer to japanese centre stands as 'Euro' anything.

Centre stands are getting to be optional extras. MG don't do one for the V7.ii even though the frame has provision for putting one in, but H&B do. MG do make a centre stand for the V7.III

Guzzi is italian and italians have their own way of doing engineering stuff, it has to be pretty. The other italian bike company, Ducati, is presently german (Audi-VW) and the germans have their way of over-engineering everything.   Wink

I think as bikes increasingly move to be dealer serviced and most owners wouldn't have the first idea, centre stands are becoming obsolete. We don't even have chains to lubricate!

It was a victorian ideal that everyman be his own mechanic. Are we losing those skills already?

Well, what have I done?
1) replaced rear rack because wife doesn't like sitting on german torture devices.
2) 2-in lowered Knight Design foot pegs because I find knees bent back hurts.
3) CZS saddlebag panniers fitted. These are 12 litre but not much smaller than the Enfield Large Leather Pannier Bags, same height, width, depth apart for the heel cutaway which makes them look like holsters for Hellboy's pistol.
4) fitted Hepco & Becker centre stand.
