Haven't done one on this bike but they are fairly basic, a bit like a small spark plug on the top of the crankcase, just behind the cylinders. You should be able to get in there without taking anything else off but I'm not sure. A squirt of penetrating fluid the night before might help. I might take the tank off but that's just me.

there is an intermotor part loads less than guzzi part look atop the crankcase in front of the left hand cylinder or go to one of the guzzi parts people in no order of merit
Gutsibits Motomecca Corsa Italiana NBS local Guzzi dealer I use Twiggers locally (Loughborough) Only the connector may vary either a spade or bullet type many parts are the same as fitted to Italian car parts ie Fiat The oil sensor is easy to replace a basic spanner and maybe the ability to replace the wire terminal |

Ken, the one in front of the lh cylinder is the crankshaft sensor, the oil pressure switch sits between the cylinders.
