I am in the process of changing the original US sealed beam unit for a H4 type ,the  seal is a bit crumbly. Has anyone found a suitable replacement?
I did find a link to Moto Guzzi Classics ...run by Mark Etheridge in LA. He suggested using a screen door seal available in hardware stores.
Not really an option for me on this sideof the pond.

Not sure of the size of the Eldorado headlamp, but on both my T3 and Ducati 900GTS I replaced the unit with a Wipac Quadoptic.  Very good value and fits perfectly in the shell.  If you need clips to secure it to the rim, those glazing clips for greenhouses are perfect.

Y'all don't have screening spline in the UK?
I'd offer to send you a length, but shipping could be costly.

I expect we do, but under a different name.
Can you describe it? Round in section? Soft plastic I assume.

Round in section with ridges to help it stay in place, soft vinyl material. I can post a close-up photo if desired.

Yes, but the .190" diameter works best.

Been trying for the last 20 mins to post a photo. I give up. Angry
