What's everyone doing for small block silencers? My originals are horribly rusted from the inside out.

Quite like the look of black ones, but all the ebay/aftermarket ones appear to be straight through with minimal if any baffling, just packing around a perforated tube. A bit too loud for my liking, as I live in a residential area and will be commuting very early in the morning.

Or is it possible to bung up a straight through pipe with a perforated plug in the centre to force more of the gases through the packing?

I have Keihans on both my LM and V50. Very close to the originals in both look and loudness. Pleasant to deal with and when I had a problem they sorted it out very quickly.

Thanks Ken, haven't stumbled across Feked, before, great source for bits. Found some black reverse cones on there with decent baffling, they'll be perfect I think!

I fitted the megaton short reverse cones to the b750 in June. They were €54 each on amazon.fr. They were definitely louder, just about acceptable, but became louder over time.
I've just repacked them, which has i think given them less resonance and a deeper sound but they are still quite loud.
I'll run them for a while to decide if I'll quieten them further (probably). I have a couple of ideas for that :)

Hi folks, I need new/used silencers for my 1983 V65C and would like to put some custom ones on, but I do want to be legal, so has anyone got any ideas that won't break the bank? Thanks people.
