Adjusted the clutch on the Sport 11 yesterday, its at the end of both adjusters.

Riding today pulled up, clutch wouldn't disengage so it stalled.  I managed to get it home on clutchless shifts and starting on starter motor in gear.

I just tried moving the clutch mechanism at the gearbox end and cant get the clutch to disengage.

New cable ordered but I suspect its the actual clutch gone?  Are there any other possible solutions?

Edit:
Just removed the clutch cable and I can move the clutch mechanism on the box by hand.  Springs or full clutch gone?

Possibly the clutch centre splines are notched which could stop the plates separating.
Brian.

Is that an easy job for an inexperienced mechanic?

it is a long job to replace the clutch but not difficult .....however I put a note on your other post as sometimes the clutch sticks due to the clutch dust clogging totally in the splines .... not gonna repeat it

Sounds like pushrod or associated gubbins not working for some reason.

I'm getting deja vu a while ago someone posting on the club forum had exact same symptoms but never heard what was the result.
