Right next problem
The front brake light switch is not working, checked power to switch, is there any way to test the switch without refilling the hydraulics again? Having gone online i can only find descriptions that show the switch is on as standard and then off when pressed, mine appears to be the other way round, having ordered a new one from Gutsibits but it wont fit as the thread on mine is much more coarse, having said that there is no continuity in the new one either which makes me wonder if the original is not faulty. So over to the experts !!!

Pressure closes the circuit, no continuity at rest is normal. ('79 T3, switch on bottom yoke junction)

You might be able to test it somehow, by putting air pressure to the little hole in the threaded end, maybe with a tyre pump. But generally they are very reliable.

I'm assuming you've narrowed it down to the switch i.e. tested all the wiring, bulb, etc.
If you're looking for a new switch, I think the threads are normally M10 x 1.
