It reminded me of the packing they did on Guy Martin's Enfield to put it on the train in India

Hi
I have just purchased and received yesterday from Italy a Guzzi 850 T in Brown as well, looks like i have a similar amount of work as you. I too am going to repaint mine but was looking at the colour options. I looked at the Red (favourite choice) i understand it to be Fiat Vivid Red code 152) but was surprised it isnt a metallic finish ie solid. Also the gold lines i also thought they were gold foil or similar. Very keen to see how your bike progresses as being in near the same condition at the same time. Good Luck |

I haven't actually started stripping mine as yet (bloody Aprilia being a PITA and work getting the way) but will be on it very soon.
I think I have settled on the Fiat vivid Red (152) for mine. Get a thread started on your project and we can compare notes as we go.

Yes i will do that, going to start my strip down this weekend, hoping as it runs seemingly fine to just remove what is needed and leave the rest alone, just finishing a Bimota resto and do not want a garage full of parts again.
But time will tell.
