See my Cali seat bases
See how they have rusted
I'll get them blasted.
Anyone know a sheet metal shop that would make one from two ? I'm in North London so I am.

Cheers

What did you do in the end? I have a T3 base that's a wee bit tired.

Be interested to know who the 'Lou' is that did your recovering, too. Does he also replace the foam? I think I can feel the battery terminals through mine. Lovely patina on it though.

In the end I had my good powdercoated base recovered using foam I had from the above bases Which are still in need of work.
If I am travelling any distance I usually put the Airhawk on for a bit of extra comfort.
Lou is an upholsterer in Epping who used to be known as Lou the Seat.
I also use A&R Pound in Baldock for seat covering.
