OK I know the answer.
Each has their own web site, (from your list in the Safari screen shot) iansoady.org.uk, and italianmotormagazine.com. They also each store their avatar image on their respective web space: Ian's: http://www.iansoady.org.uk/images/wheelie64.jpg Italian Motor: http://www.italianmotormagazine.com/alf.jpg So every time you load a page HERE which has either of their avatar on it, the picture actually comes from their web site, and that's why a cookie is saved for that web site. |

Yes, that's the reason. Most people upload the avatar so it's stored in the forum file space.

Loving the website, Mike. Especially the valve and TD160 stuff. I've got a couple of TD150s in various states of modification and valves in my old Hammond. Not quite brave enough yet to include them in the hifi signal path though.

Thanks for clearing all that up Mike.
Although I spent 40 years as a systems analyst / designer, I am quite ignorant when it comes to web stuff. |
