New to me 08 Norge.  First ever Guzzi.  Thought it was something terrible at first because I stopped at a light and smoke was everywhere.  Last night I discovered that the oil is coming from a tube.  This tube had been rubbing up against the headers where the two turn into one.  The result was that it was pouring oil onto the headers and making it smoke.

Is it common to have a tube that oil omes out of near the rear of the motor?  The tube had melted almost shut.  I cut it open and a few drops of oil came out.  The bike has about 36k on it now.  Seems to run fine.  Is this normal?

It sounds like the airbox drain tube, it should have a cap on the end and you drain it now and then

The tube was obviously routed wrongly or not secured well enough.
