I've been looking at my screen since Tarquin was so kind as to post a pic of his.
I noticed - and some further looking around confirmed - that it is held to the frame by 4 bolts. That got me interested, as mine has 6.... A PO has added a bracket at the base of each frame leg and drilled the screen to accept 2 more bolts. Looking at the screen it seems that the RHS frame leg was rubbing on the screen itself. Is this an accepted mod? I can't find any reference to it on the net. Is there any chance that this more rigid mount has caused some of the vibration I've been suffering? For the moment I've returned the screen to 'normal' with some spacers on the lower attachment point to keep the screen from rubbing on the leg. I can't get out to test it just now, so I thought I'd see what theories you guys have .
