Funny enough I was considering a Cali EV as a sensible bikeand use my Griso as my fun bike, but now I'm using the Griso as sensible bike and Sport will be the fun bike.
I'm sort of done with sportbikes for the road, was so bored of the Triumph 955i, but Guzzi sportbikes are not like any other... ;) |

Like yours, the one I'm looking at has had the 'colostomy bag' exhaust collector removed.
What is the advantage to doing this? I'm guessing yours has the original gearbox? What does that ride like, gears-wise? Part of why I want this particular one is the Cali gearbox, I hear 1st gear is very high on the original box. |

Gearbox works but you need to be positive in action it's no Suzuki box . The only time the gears are a pain is at a Hairpin ,first gear stops your speed and second gear you have to wait forever to get going again . In other words make your time up elsewhere lol . The exhaust just lets it flow a little easier I've kept original air box . I once rode my Superduke on track then jumped on the sport big mistake the brakes are good but no one finger touch I use me full hand ,that first hair pin I arrived at saw me grass tracking but after that brakes were fine . You have to really want a sport to get the best out of them and leave all your worries of gearbox etc at home

Anyone have any experience of touring on an 1100i?
Comfort for the pillion? Luggage facilities, i.e. rack and/or pannier systems?
