Strange fault that may have a simple solution
new to me 2008 motoguzzi sport 1200 4v (2v)
I didn't check all the lights when purchased ( my own fault)
On starting the bike the side ( front) and rear lights are on
dip headlamp comes on only when the main light switch is put on.
so I have no main beam.
This bike had an extensive strip /rebuild just before I bought it
it may just be a wire plugged in incorrectly? ?
I shall open the headlamp and
Check connections
check fuses
Anything else to check?
Main bulb looks ok (not burnt)
But I will check

I'll update later

Pics below show how far the bike was stripped for its cosmetic refurb plus suspension mods
Yes that's why I bought it, it's very very nice
