Does Anyone have experience of progressive rate springs compared with the standard items, please?

I put some progressive springs in my 750 S3 last year and they really made a good difference. Stopped the forks bottoming out that would happen over bad bumps or small potholes and just gave the bike a smoother ride overall and a feeling of better handling. Of course the forks on that bike were pretty basic anyway, so anything is an improvement LOL.

Just put some on my Abassador which is still on the bench being rebuilt, as my Eldorado is a bit sloppy around corners. I haven't tried them yet, but have heard they make a difference.

I have never heard anyone say that prog springs weren't an improvement.

Springs would be for my NF Civile. There's a pair for sale locally, as the seller preferred the ride using original springs to the progressive items. Hence my question
