Have you tried the usual outlets, Gutsibits and Reboot?
I know it's a different bike, but on my SPIII the fitting for the Motoplatt pickup was not the same as the standard points plate.

no luck with guts bits and have just tried reboot ,no luck there. The end of my cam is different ,it has a flat where the reluctor locates,i can use this flat to locate an advance/retard unit with a little bit of modification.I will have to do it this way because the motoplat camshaft does not have the locating pin to stop it from spinning. If this doesn't work I'll change the camshaft for an older one which has the pin.The inner timing case looks the same as the older one, with the condensor holes .I am assuming the diameter of the motoplatt trigger plate is the same as a points plate.I haven't done this conversion before so any help will gratefully received.

Could try Agostini's in Mandello or Teo Lamers Or Stein Dinse.

Never worry about going to the EU for spares all have someone who speaks English the postage is often not that much and you can get your own courier pick up ....parts are often cheaper there is NO customs duty from the EU However IF you order from the USA ask the vendor to put the parts as Motorcycle Parts NOT FOR RESALE it reduces customs charges ...I have ordered from EU and USA many times often the parts are cheaper which offsets the postage .....
