    Posted: 24 Dec 2014 at 11:10
I have a Sony Xperia Z1 phone(Android) and I would like to download routes from Best Biking Roads (GPX files) and was wondering if any one knows of an app that will read the file and give me turn by turn directions.

I have found lots of readers which will just show me the route on a map but none give any guidance so it  would mean stopping to check I was on my target route. Some of them just gave me straight lines from one way point to the next....about as useful as a fart in a space suit

Has anyone come across a suitable answer ??
You can't buy happiness,
But can buy a bike and that's pretty close!

thing is you can get a sat nav for under £50 and they work well a lot less to potentially loose

If touring abroad, Google maps will cost you in roaming charges.

If you're on Android you can use Nokia HERE and download the whole country maps and use them off line (abroad) and to be honest it's as good as google maps, but if you want traffic and live updates you'll need to turn on data
Even easier on Windows 8 phones
