Hi

We have tried a couple of times now to do a two up euro tour on the V7C but my wife can't get comfortable.

So we have decided to trailer the bike to Como area.

Problem is I have found on the few times I have been to Italy that it can be very cramped.

Has anyone an accommodation recommendation that would have enough space to accommodate the trailer.  My car is not small either, so would need a good bit of space.

Doesn't have to be Mandello anywhere around Como.  Plan is to do shorter rides two up and I will do some longer ones on my own.

Planning on going in September for the 95th birthday celebrations.

Thanks

Dependent on how much riding you want to do out there of course, another option would be to ditch the trailer idea completely, and hire a V7 from Agostini in Mandello.
A weeks hire comes out at £500 all in inc insurance and breakdown, or £200 for a weekend, which is expensive, but does away with a lot of the aggro of humping a fricking great trailer around,
Just a thought.

HI where will you be staying? Perhaps e mail them and  ask? We tend to stay in lake Garda, Pescheira, and noticed that most towns have municiple car parks (usually free)but are afew minutes walk from the centre, maybe A look on google earth?

http://www.booking.com/hotel/it/b-mandello-del-lario.html

I stayed here last September, very nice, quiet and friendly. Bike parking in garage and car/trailer parking within easy walking distance. Railway station 10 mins walk, Mandello 35 mins walk.

Regards,

John
