Hi ive had a corsa now for a few months my problem is on first getting the bike it ran ok but was very rough running at times and then started to cut out mainly when stopping at roundabouts and traffic lights but once in awhile at speed .
At speed it sometimes gave big jolts like a coil playing up.
Took it back and the fuel system was cleaned and new filter but had same problem but most of the time it ran fine .
Had relays, and sensors changed including TPS and  ,ECU and dif chip
Bike now runs well good ,did 200 miles and had the best guzzi ive ever had but the other night it ran like a pig again popping and banging , next day ran good again .
Any one got any ideas b4 I put it on a running dyno.
As some know I had a nightmare with me 1100 sport which is now running great but like a fool ive now got a nightmare corsa also ,im running out of ideas any suggestion would be most welcome .

When the bike is hot, cold or both?
Is it misfiring on one cylinder or both, what do the plugs look like?
Do you have access to diagnostic equipment?

Hi ,it was doing it hot or cold ,diagnostic say nothing wrong . In shop now and think its running to lean .
After adjustments will let you know .
If it is just running lean now i could end up with a fantastic bike .
thanks

when the le mans V11 played up it was a crack in the inlet rubber full power all good but started missfiring then  sometimes not as the crack got bigger the fault showed up more and more these things are fairly thick rubber but do perish and do take a hammering look at them on tick over you can see them moving....just an idea

Hi johnno, if (as I suspect) yours is the corsa that Muzzi sold back in march, you just beat me to it!! What a beauty, I've kicked myself for 6 months for not being quicker off the mark; I literally missed out by about an hour according to Ian at the time - (he then directed me to a nice 1100i at motostrada which I also subsequently missed out on) - so, if you ever decide to sell.....?!  please bear me in mind? Cheers!

Hi fiddlygrub it was the one at muzzi moto had a few problems with it which were a real pain to sort but Ian at muzzi moto with the help from Twiggers got it sorted for me and it was well worth the wait .
I would not dream of selling the bike it is pure joy to ride , if you get a chance buy one .
There was one for sale at made in Italy motorcycles and I would have liked to have got that one as well, just so I could ride the hell out of one and look after the other one .
I could go on and on about the corsa that is the effect its had on me ,wonderful machineClapThumbs Up

Hi johnno, thanks for replying (though I would've preferred a 'yes, please take it now!' response LOL)   - and please, don't contribute further to their existing rarity by buying another one!!

You mention the profound effect the corsa has had on you - I note that you also have an 1100 sport - is there really such a marked difference in the ride? I've not experienced either first hand but on paper it would seem the mechanical differences would be too subtle to be that noticeable?

Meanwhile, I shall continue my search for either a nice 1100 sport i, or my Holy grail, a sorted corsa though as more time passes this becomes less and less likely... I think I'm obsessing Wacko I'd add Daytona RS to that list but then I'd have to flog a kidney on ebay
Cheers, fiddles

I dream of owning a Daytona but for me that's big money .
My 1100 sport is a carb model it weights a ton and the throttle is well heavy its very rewarding to ride and makes you feel good but when you jump on the corsa everything is so much lighter and way easier to ride at a pace and it spins up engine wise a lot quicker . I think the 1100 sporti is a great choice a lot of bike for the money .
I find the riding position on these bikes really good but a lot of folk don't agree
