Thanks Mike. You are right about the atomiser jets being worn. I hadn't picked up that one of the needles was bent and had worn a grove in the atomiser. New needles and atomisers have been ordered from stein dinse and should be here for the weekend.

Shop at Eurocarbs for Dellorto bits and pieces and you'd have had it here for tomorrow. (o;
(No connection, and I use various sources for parts - but prefer to keep the local 'specialist' stores in operation when I have the opportunity). |

I put around 20 miles on the bike today, it's getting better all the time.
The shock factory shocks are very good matching the front suspension a treat. The whole thing feels well balanced and up to date. I jumped straight off my 2015 Honda onto the guzzi without it feeling dated at all. Very surprising! Must get the bodywork swapped over |

Can't believe it was march when I posted the last photo...Anyway!
I've now covered several thousand miles on the bike. Love it to bits (tempting fate with a Guzzi saying that) It went from the photo above to looking like this. I liked the scruffy original paint but the tank is a little crusty in places and as winter rapidly sets in were looking like this. Very grown up and stylish (unlike its owner). Still things to do and finish but I'm really enjoying riding her. Its settled down to being a lovely bike to ride. needs very little maintenance and Joe Caruso's straight cut steel timing gears have been faultless and very quiet. |

Nice, well done Rob.
Did you pick a used screen or is a new one?

Well! There's a story I bought a new screen from Stein Dinse and then had the misfortune of catching my trouser leg on the gearlever while swinging the bike round in a car park. ended up in a heap and broke the new screen so a second new screen was ordered from Gutsibits |
