Ne4w seat for the SP turned up today so took it to the place I have found to have it recovered along with the reshaping of the foam
as having a good chunk removed I want a gel pad putting in to stop numb bum syndrome
the chap showed me a few gel materials at what can only be described as silly cheap to total opposite and the difference was plain to see -- and more important feel,
as there will only be around 1/2 inch of foam I have opted to have fitted quality gel as fitted to severly disabled peoples chairs  its round and knobbly one side  and smooth on top ld have it in a week and keep you posted

Funny,  one thing I have never had a problem with is seats - on a T£ Cali, Convert, T5, Cali 1100 and now the Norge - just came back from LLandridnod Wells to Edinburgh today - 350 mile no problem with butt.  never had numb bum syndrome - must have a butt of some metal or other

never rely get the numb bumb my problem is little legs that don't reach the floor so I then have to loose all the padding to be safe I think on this one I wiuld get a hard ride as it would be less than 1 inch of foam

Less foam does not = numb bum at all BUT less foam does mean either the memory stuff OR a gel insert in the seat.
