So....last year was such a success and arranged by such a nice lady.

But as she fell out with us and we don't know why.

So what say we do it again this year. Same venue. Same weekend. Hopefully more guzzi's

The Beach Bar, Sligo   7-9 August 2015.

If anyone can actually post on the other forum. Please do. I can't be arsed with it anymore.

You missed the Kerry trip, Simon, a good laugh was had by all.
About 12 guzzis of various sorts.
Sligo sounds like fun, as I was the only one in Kerry that had been to Sligo, and the roads are well worth revisiting.
Not sure August will work though, we'll have the same issues as last time ie everyone's on holidays.
September sometime might be good though?
Don't do Facebook, so I have to deal with the UK site. It's not THAT bad..
Cheers,
Fergal.

But I certainly wouldn't pay £25 for the other site.

I couldn't make annascual. But good to hear it went well. Did we maintain the tradition of the organiser running off in a huff?

Still can't understand that one.

well, it was pretty much me who organised(not much too it really-pick a time and a place), and I stayed to the better end!
Funnily enough, there was a little trace of her-Gary had bought her breva, and he was there.

Had a Facebook account but cancelled it cos I was uneasy about it re confidentiality etc..
Was I being over- cautious? Should I re- open it in order to access Guzzi chat? Why is the sky blue? Why doesn't my wife understand me? Oh, sorry, that's for another forum

Facebook is ok, just make up a silly name or just don't post stuff up that you don't want 'out there'. I am still a paid-up MGCGB member but even after months and months still find their 'new' forum nigh on impossible to access, and I just don't have the time to sit there and keep trying, trying, trying, trying..so I've just about stopped trying.

Facebook only knows what you put on it,

I still get people wishing me a happy birthday at a completely different month to my actual birthday

There was a meet on for next weekend but was cancelled due to injury. A couple of us booked time off work so might head off anyway.

Very disappointed I didn't get an invite to this one.  Obviously you guys just forgot...:-)

Sorry to here about the injury.  Who?  What happened?  Maybe you don't want to go into that here.

Still interest in a Guzzi meet if I am allowed go.

There's always 2017 (let's hope).
There was a meet last weekend in Mayo. Facebook is main info point, though it was also on MG GB forum. I had forgotten about this forum here, but have arrived today after seeing the link on the other place. We can post info on here in future, if dwindling memory allows.

How about Doolin as suggestion for an Ireland 2017 meet?

Magical place, campsite in the middle of the village with a couple of great pubs within staggering distance.

Not been for a few years - I'd love to have an excuse to go back!
