I’ve just looked, there is a link to send an email, but there is no email address that I can see.
Might I suggest that Brian sets up a specific email address eg “donations to guzzi riders website @ gmail dot com” or something similar, with a PayPal account attached, and we can chuck a couple of quid at it whenever we have a win on the horses/feel flush/get a bit of good advice or whatever? Atb Simon Sorry, I see I missed a page S

Brian does not proactively seek donations, he welcomes what he can get as he does pay for this forum out of his own pocket. any excess in a year is donated to his favoured charity. the @btinternet address for paypal does work

Brian has only ever offered PayPal - usually the easiest option for all concerned but if you dont have an account it becomes difficult

I may have missed it, so just checking as there been any discussion this year about making contributions towards running of this fabulous site? I am assuming like everything else; the costs have or are increasing this year. Brian, are you still using this same PayPal account brianlec @ btinternet. com (take the spaces out)?

Yes, and I have just paid for the next year. Costs haven't gone up as far as I can see, still well under £200 all in for a year. But yes, a little help is always welcome. As I have always said from the start, I have no intention of profiting from this, if I do get more than I need donated, the excess goes to the Royal Marsden Cancer charity. I wouldn't be here now if it wasn't for them.

I have looked again at the PayPal site and I can't see where/how to pay without downloading an app/setting up an account. The last time I sent money to Brian was via the just giving page for his charity walk, this didn't require an account etc. Is it possible to send funds without a PayPal account? I don't generally do Facebook, eBay, PayPal, Amazon, Twitter etc. I am not a luddite, just don't like the ethics of these businesses and some of their practices. Mind you I am far from technically expert with IT anyway.

Brian would have to send you an email (invoice) with a PAY NOW button & you can pay with debit card or credit card. There may be a charge for doing it this way as Paypal is only FOC for Friend To Friend transfers.

I don't want this forum to look commercialised, so have avoided "donate" buttons, also because I can't be a**ed to set it all up with the extra costs involved. There is always the possibility of bank transfer. I could be prepared to share details with longstanding trusted members.
