I'm surprised the reviewer hasn't suffocated. No one to tell him when to breath in or out. "Gee, it's a sort of sport-adventure-tourer-cruiser not a dual-sport-cruiser-retro" 😪😴😕
There are bikes and surfaces. Some bikes work better on some surfaces. That's it, endless choice from there. Tyres sort everything except weight. Personally I have no interest in either of these, both are lardy tourers on the sort of surfaces available in Europe. If sticking to tarmac you may as well choose a road bike and ditch the poor aerodynamics both have. If you want to try the sort of stone/gravel runs like TET you need a trail bike. Toss a coin and get a free ride? I'd be hoping for the BMW just because there is less bodywork. Andy

I'm not into mudwrestling with a bike and due to the limited access to my storidge a "GS" won't fit.
Also long bikes (Victory/Indian cruisers) can't make it round the corner. Wide bikes, full fairing can't get through the door, I need to row the mirrors in. So I'm stuck to semi naked bikes. BTW the frame of the T9 goes only as far as the driver. So putting real (GS) panniers on it must be a challenge.

What a pointless video. The V85TT and BMW R9T are not comparable. Fancy that. Apart from that the riders just tiddle along gassing without doing a comparison of performance (the figures suggest that the Beemer would annihilate the 85TT on acceleration) and their road positioning is rubbish. Nice camera work and sound though…Oh, and it never occurred to me that the Beemer would be rubbish off-road - really it’s just a Beardie bike in the style of the original G/S - the only off-reading it’s meant for is riding up pavements outside cafés… Not worth disturbing pixels for.

'mericans: they get their car license at 13 with their breakfast cereal and can add the bike category by either joining the post office queue that isn't for hunting licenses or doing a sort of CBT. Hence all the YouBoob videos where they fall off on corners. Andy

Significant overuse of the word "Like" as is all too common these days, and the lady when she gets "like" enthusiastic sounds rather like Miss Piggy.
Apart from that, not very informative but they were having fun so what's not to erm'--------- like. |
