The V85 is an adventure bike, so I took mine green laning.... the trouble is, the lane was ruined!

Great to see a green laning video on a Guzzi forum!
You’re a braver / stronger man than I, my 105 kg WR250F was heavy enough for me off road! I sold it due to decreasing numbers of green lanes near me unfortunately.
Despite being a lovely shade of green, my V7 Sport would definitely not be at home, I / we don’t even like getting wet these days! LOL
Paul.

'72 V7 Sport, '79 Le Mans 2 - Sold, a couple of 60s Brit bikes and a general love of interesting old bikes & cars!

Until the tyres get swapped out, it'll not do anything more taxing than this TBH, we are quite lucky in the Surrey/Hampshire area to have quite a lot of green lanes of varying difficulty, am hoping in the summer to do more with the V85, but like you say, it is a big ol' beasty and winter mud is super slippy.
Haha... I'm looking out the window today with sadness as I have a new exhaust fitted to the V85 I want to test ride, but it is tipping down with rain here, so will have to wait for another day.
My V7 is off the road currently, it doesn't get used in winter much anyway, but it has no rear wheel until my local shop fixes the damage they did to it on the last tyre change.

Are you involved with the TRF?

I think you might need floats fitted for a trip out today.
Brian.
