Has anyone not been satisfied with the stock horn, and upgraded with an after market horn? if so,, which one did you choose, and did it require no special modifications? Someone on Facebook advocated a horn from Revzilla, but didn't mention weather it required any frame modifications.

Thank you.

I don't think any "stock" horn is any use.

I fitted a Stebel Nautilus to my Norge. However, that has a fairing to hide it.

I've used Fiamm on several bikes. I always use a relay with them as they draw quite a high current. A pair (one either side) on my Tiger.

To uprate the horns on various bikes over the years I've gone to a scrapyard and taken a horn from a car. The scrappy would normally have a battery available so the horn could be tested.

Those Fiamms (or lookalikes) are only about £10 IIRC.
