I purchased my late friend's V7 iii Anaversario yesterday. A great bike. We both thought when the V7 iii came out, they were the best looking retro bike on the market, at least until the Royal Enfield INT 650 came out.
I was searching for the specs online and noticed that the aniversario was to be a limited run of 750 bikes. This bike is #806 of 1000. What happened here? Did Moto Guzzi add 250?, or did they start another run of 1000?, how many runs of 1000 have they made? If I'd bought one of the first 750, for the the reason of "only 750", I might be a little disappointed. I'm in no way disappointed with the bike, my friends daughter wanted me to have it, so she sold it to me right. I plan on keeping it until my children have to sell it, just because we were such close friends. I do wonder, why 750 turned into 1000?

Well there were replica Mike Hailwood Replicas for many years!
Maybe the first 750 Bikes sold well so they increased the number to 1000. Good for business.
