Changing oil on MK111 - is it 3l or 3.5l capacity?.

Even though I don't speak  Italian, I can tell you that the user manual says 3 litres.

3 Ltrs for sure 👍 - unless the sump capacity has been extended 

I “slightly” over filled my mk3 and found out the hard way. It blew the surplus out through the air box and all over the back of the bike. Lucky the first roundabout had shell grip coating but it was still a very disturbing occurrence 😱

A sump extension is there to drop the oil level lower, not to increase the capacity.

Just to help there are free downloads of Owners manuals as well as workshop manuals on Greg Benders this old tractor website you can download the lot or what I do for my EV is print the pages I use... Worth printing the service page it lists oils types and volumes as well as clearances, in the workshop manuals you even get a page with Torque settings on the bike ...I print them and pop it in a clear folder to have in the workshop
