Hello and good day everyone! New member here and 1st time owner of a Moto Guzzi.
I've been away from motorcycles for quite a few years now, I've owned 6 in the past, and the last one i used to try my hand at road racing in Canada in the 750 amateur class. So what brought me back to bikes, and why a Moto Guzzi? Well,,i bought a ticket in a lottery at the Dubai Airport,..and lo and behold...I won it!!!I"m currently living/working in Riyadh, KSA, and still waiting on the transfer of ownership,,but this corona virus has the airports shut down, so i can't take over ownership yet. While i'm waiting for the airports to open,,does anyone have a digital copy of the owners manual so i can read up on my new bike? Secondly, what are the best, first accessories do you think i should get? Any suggestions on a nice pannier, at a good price. Moto Guzzi original panniers, are quite expensive. Ok, everyone...Stay healthy during this mini-crisis!!! Cheers Tim from Toronto to Dubai to Riyadh!!

Welcome to the board Toronto Tim. You are going to enjoy getting back into motorcycles with your new Guzzi. I test rode one last year and a very nice ride! Still looking for a Canadian that remembers the SPORTBIKE RALLY of Parry Sound, ONT ?

Hi Tim,
Lucky you! I've just sent you a PM with my email address on it. Please send me a mail and I'll send you a pdf of the owners manual. I've also got the workshop manual if you want that. Centre stand is essential to me and engine bars are worth having. Each retail at less than £100 in UK so are very good value. I have the Guzzi metal box panniers which are excellent, but pricey. If you''re tempted to buy a higher screen for more wind protection, try a Puig deflector first on the standard screen. It's just as effective. Cheers, Derek

Thanks brother! Much appreciated. I got the manuals in my email.
I already placed my orders on Amazon, for new helmet(Shoei RF-1200 with photo-chromic visor accessory) one of those bike locks that has a extended pin that slips through your disc brake, a helmet lock with cable, a breathable jacket with removable armour, a handlebar phone mount and canvas saddlebags(cause they were only 24 bucks and highly rated on amazon). The engine guards sound like the next purchase, and maybe some riding gloves. I'd prefer a Guzzi urban pannier, but it sounds way too expensive. Bigger screen sound good, preferable if i can find a cheaper after market item than from Guzzi. I'm looking forward to others ideas on their accessories. Cheers!!
