Hi there. I'm new here but I need some help, please.
My 2008 2 valve 1200 Sport needs a new tank, due to the lovely ethanol pour wise government adds to our fuel. I think I've found one but need to know the part number to be certain. Do any of you know what that might be, or where I can find out? Confused

Fowlers website quotes tank part numbers as GU05100230 - GU05100237 all numbers refer to different colours so six in all as 234 is not listed for some reason

I assume your considering buying second hand so you may still have the same expansion problem with the new tank. BY the way TLM list them second hand at 250 euro plus postage

Plastic on the 1200S, same as the Breva and Norge.

Bear in mind the Guzzi part number will vary according to colour.

But what has happened to your tank?

My Norge one has expanded, but the solution was to file the locating hole at the back oval so the bolt still fits.
Also if you look in the CARC section there is a long discussion on this problem and solutions.

From memory, unless the original label is still stuck to the tank, there will be no Guzzi part number printed on it.
Brian.
