Merde ! Oh well, a rummage in the dark corner of the garage where all the "don't sling that because it may come in handy one day" things are kept at turned up a 1pt plastic bottle with a tube attached - yessss.
It was marked Castrol R with a little bit inside and I remembered I kept it to add a few drops to the petrol tank of my mower to make cutting the lawn that much more, ummm, involved Big smile
Cleaned it out and used that. Still a bit of a PITA but job done.

I have the extended (yellow) dipstick do I can at least get the thing out. To get morel in, I use a 100ml syringe with about 20cm of hose on the nozzle. I draw up the new oil from the litre bottle and squirt it down t'ole. It's a pain but it works. I've taken the Tupperware off once too often already :(

I use an old gear oil bottle with the plastic tube.

Come to think of it I have just bought a big syringe for sucking oil out of a car sump, that would fill the Norge.
The early Norge had the standard screw in dipstick, clearly the dipstick who specified that wasn't aware of the tupperware to be fitted. Almost impossible to get at.

They then did an upgrade mod with a push in dipstick and a hole and rubber bung in the fairing, sold as a kit including a template to show where to make the hole.

That works fine as a dipstick, but the hole is now smaller to get the oil in. Angry

Thanks. I have the Yellow dipstick and to get it out I have to thread some strong cord through it and give a sharp tug from outside the plastic. Said cord is kept under the seat for just that...
I managed to get some oil in using and old gear oil bottle with the tube, but drips here, drips there, 'kin 'ell.Unhappy

Do you have a hole on the plastic to get to it? I can get my finger through the loop and pull it out quite easily.
Rubber bung is the the same as the one on the front of the alternator belt cover.

Yes, I have the hole and I can poke my finger in and through the dip-stick handle but the pressure required to pull it out is too much for my right index aided by my left Cry

Must be a tighter fit than mine then, I can do it with the index finger on my left hand. Not easily do it though.

Used Scotoiler bottles come with a plastic tube as well - not that many Guzzi owners will have a Scotoiler fitted (I hope Stern Smile ).

Getting off topic, but it appears BMW K1200LT is a good contender for the title. Love this video. LOL

No dipstick, but a sight glass. And to help you reach the filler hole, they provide you with (?) ... wait for it ... a pack of disposable paper funnels

But the hole seems a bit bigger, you woudn't get any paper funnel to fit in the Norge.

Same problem applies to the Stelvio.
