Season's greetings to you all.

Can anyone recommend an in line fuel filter they have used that doesn't perish in some way or other with modern fuels please?

Am fed up with suppliers mis-representations!

Best Regards

Mark

What size of filter are you looking for? I would have thought any metal case filter would be OK. Mahle KL 145 or equivalent.

Bike has fuel tap filters (brass gauze) and carb screen filters (nylon), so shouldn't need any more?

I briefly messed with inline filters years ago but in view of the above, seemed more trouble than they were worth. Quite awkward to fit, and then I thought, 4 extra hose joints that could leak. Ouch

YMMV

With carbs, the need for ultra clean fuel is minimal, not like fuel injection.

I agree chaps, but then again with a mildly rusty tank internal it might be worth it.

Cheers

I too had mildly rusty tanks, still OK with the stock filters.

Still a good idea to clean them occasionally tho. Big smile
