It could not really come under the heading of 'bargain of the week' but here it is.

Thats why I've kept mine on and refurbished. I doubt many people would spend that kind of money to make a MKII look more like a MKI.

Might be just the ticket for a new LM1 owner who is returning his bike to standard trim and removing the dodgy replacements (a bit like me in fact) not that I would pay that much - jeez - there are limits

I don't know.  Maybe it's just a supply and demand thing. I mean, how many brand new early switches can there be out there.

Has it sold yet?

No, it's still showing available.

I have put Domino switch gear on my bikes as they are reasonably cheap, look ok (to me) and work perfectly. I didn't have Moto Guzzis in the 1970's / 80's as I couldn't afford one, and it's only hearsay but I understand that the switches weren't all that reliable when they were new?

I suppose that they do look "period" though and enhance the originality theme.

Must have given itself haemorrhoids knowing how much it cost.

The point I was making, in respect to the "supply and demand" suggestion, is that as it hasn't sold, then the demand (at that price) is clearly not there.

To think, I chucked mine as nastily designed and worn out scrap. Ouch

Brian, I don't think the auction has concluded yet. The bids are hardly flooding in, but sometimes it all happens in the last few minutes. That has been my experience of eBay anyway.

I think the price is over the top, but you just never know.
