Time for a service, and I note that the handbook says to put 20cc of Molykote A or Rocol ASO/R in the final drive. Both seem to be a bit hard to get hold of, can anyone recommend an equivalent? I'm guessing the recommendation in the book's a bit out of date, being 23 years old n'all...

I think I've bought some similar stuff in Halfords. Comes in a plastic tube, but can't remember the name.

However, the more modern GL5 oils are rather better than those of 25 years ago, so the Moly isn't now so important. Not mentioned for the new V7 range.

MARLY GX is an equivalent graphite/molybdenum gear additive.
