I have a nearly new V9 Bobber with just over 1000 mi.on it.and am in a town with no Guzzi Dealer, The Transmission making a grinding noise while decelerating in all gears, oil good and chain is lubed and adjusted correctly. any help would be greatly appreciated.

Have you checked the drain plug for any metal bits on it - it has a magnet to catch crap.you can get the plug out quick and stick you finger in the hole you want lose much oil.

hmmm is it a wind up? 1) Guzzis do not have chains. No dealer anywhere? Do not new Guzzis have a recovery option they did here ....

I see the same request has come up on Guzzitech. They want to know where the chain is too.
 
But to answer the rest of the query, if a new bike is making a lot of nasty noises, you have no alternative but to trailer it back to a Guzzi dealer. Or at least contact that dealer by phone and ask them what they can do.
