Thanks for the suggestions guys.  The fronts will skim ok I think, but the rear was done before.  Luckily, that seems to be the cheaper one, as I'd be very surprised if it was still 5mm thick!

The quickest, easiest approach is to just keep using them as they are. Only problem is if any are warped. They should be thick enough to take a skimming if you are really bothered.

Barry, standard thickness is 6.5mm, minimum 5.0mm after resurfacing.

You may be able to get them skimmed?

I'm inching forward with getting my Guzzi back on the road and while looking at the wheels ready for powder coating yesterday, I noticed the disks are pretty worn, especial the rear.  Having looked at Gutsibits this morning, I was little shocked at the price of over 500 quid for a set!  I guess Stien Dience will be a bit cheaper, but it's still a lot of money.

Are there any clever ways around this?  If I have to spend that sort of money, is there anything I can do as an upgrade?  The set up at the moment will be from a 1980 Spada

Many thanks, Barry
