The rubber still isn't the greatest fit, so I always stick mine in place with Permatex Ultra Black RTV.

I've not resorted to sticking mine, but agree that the fit is not good. Takes a bit of patience to get it to sit nicely against the air cleaner, and soaking it in some hot water first helps make it a bit more flexible.

Mine came with pods and runs fine that way so I'll be keeping that configuration. I can post up jet sizes whenever I next go into the carbs if anyone is interested?
