Hi Community
As mentioned in a previous post I found a Guzzi here in Vietnam
I couldn't resist and bought it even though the papers are kind of funny ( If I may say ..)

They does not seem very legitimate, the date of first entry into circulation is 1994 and the displacement 844cc (This is the only Guzzi I've seen in almost 20 years in Vietnam)

The frame number is VR46732, I did not find any reference on the net (The 850T5 stops at VR36416!)

the fork tubes are 40mm! ( which is not the size for any 850T)

The front discs are 300mm

the carbs are PHF30

The front wheel is 18 inches the same for the rear wheel

In addition it lacks a lot of original parts including the tank, the pots ...

I made some pictures, if anyone can inform me it would be great ?

Thank ypou in anti

(I had 2 Guzzi in the late 80s, a V7 Special and V7 Sport)

Nice looking bike but trying to decipher Guzzi frame numbers needs a crystal ball (read Guzzitech on the subject) and a large dose of good luck!! I agree its a bitsa and a nice one at that.

Perhaps the guzzi designer went on holiday to Vietnam and your bike gave them the inspiration for the v9 Bobber!

According to the Dutch site that number could be for a 1995-on 850T5 PA. Is the PA bit a Police model?

On the site the number for the 850T5 PA stop at VR 36416 ! this one is VR36732
and as I said the fork is a 40mm and both wheel are 18" which doesn't match with the 850T5 specs

You said the frame number was VR46732 so that's what I was referring to

This is what it says on that site

Edit; Now I see your photo shows VR36732! I still think it's close enough to have started off as a T5 frame but, as others have said, it's a bitza.

Looks like a modern Triumph Bonneville tank which is where the forks may be from.

The tank was "handmade" here in Saigon
The same guys that just did those Reverse Cone silencer ,
They told me they just did a Tank for a V7 which doesn't look that bad from the picture I have seen
