Good info thank you, I have a similar oil leak, and the Oil Switch is the next place I am going to look. Does anyone have pictures of where it is an what I can expect ie is it normally a switch swapout or do the gaskets Orings cause the problem?

Between the pots (front edge) on the top of the crankcase, no gaskets involved. But they can be difficult to get at.
Brian.

A friend has a new original switch so when I get it I will be stripping down and changing it. Hopefully this will solve the leak.
Experience is what you get when you don’t read the manual

The new switches leak too, just saying: the one on my 2012 8 valve failed at 10k miles.

I now have an old-style switch fitted because when the original pressure switch failed I was taking the Guzzi on a European tour in just a few days time and the old-style switch was all the dealer had in stock. Doubtless this item will bemuse someone a few years down the line when another replacement is required/ordered
