PS: I note it only shows info for since when MOT tests started being recorded on the national database. Nuffink for before then.

Also new vehicles won't show as not tested yet. Well mine didn't.

I tried 3 numbers for different aged vehicles if that's what you mean. Big smile

Have any of you heard what my MOT tester told me last month.... that from next year (or is it now this year??) the MOT will be done the same way as the tax - you won't get a certificate.... but I guess you will get a fine if you forget to get vehicles tested.

It's hardly a certificate now, just a printed sheet of paper that anyone could copy.
However, it would seem unfair to not issue any form of proof then condemn those who forget the renewal date. Not every vehicle owner has internet access, or are they now making that a requirement too?

Yes it hasn't been a "certificate" for a couple of years or more, but a "receipt". They already go by the database not whether you got a piece of paper.

I looked up my old V1000 spotted an anomaly where the speedo reading goes from 35,000 something to 14,000 the following year then 48,000 the year after methinks the 14k one was more likely 44k ....
