The only thing I’ve done with my Bike this week is to wait for it!
It was MOT’d on Monday, but Santa couldn’t get it on his sleigh for delivery this week |

Rode to Matlock for fish , chips and peas on 650 . Around 20 bikes there and the roads very little traffic . I enjoy Matlock in the winter months

Got the rebuilt V7 Sport up and running. Not sure if the video works - try clicking on the first pic.
All seems to be OK. Unfortunately the finish on the yokes does not match the original crackle finish, but it's not so bad. Just waiting for a dry road! |

Rode home from work after 9pm last night, I mostly take a more interesting route, but came down A20 past Dover docks and it was really odd seeing the roads so deserted with the port being closed!

Rode my Norge back home from Norfolk yesterday. It started off raining but after about 30 miles I tipped into a 60mph corner and straight onto a layer of snow (luckily I went into the clear tyre tracks and survived with just an extra bit of laundry to do), then I went through a flood (the road might have been closed, but as I rode past the traffic jam and straight through I didn't think about it until I passed the fireman and his engine at the other side). Then I relaxed and let the bike be blown about by the gale on the exposed roads. Then the sun came out, which meant I couldn't see anything much through my filthy visor and screen. Temperature was 3-4 degrees for the whole 2 and a half hours, grips on full the whole time.
The point is, I rode along thinking there is no other bike I'd rather have been on, it just rumbled away the whole time, like a comforting friend!

Been wishing I could go for a ride whatever the weather all day but was working. Sounds like fun.

Went for a blast in between in between the freeze and the incoming storm. Bit on the chilly fingers side once the sun dipped down ... and then there was the road slime to rinse off. Much needed blast though.
Also. Reminded myself how heavy the beast is (Cali T3) when one of the centre-stand feet doesn't find solid ground and it starts to fall *away* from you. Didn't actually have to shout for help from the neighbours, but there was a moment there where things hung in an uneasy balance! *note to self* find some larger paving slabs. |
