Spent a morning down there a couple of weeks ago what an epic bit of engineering.

You could have sent it down to me, Bruv. I'd have sold it for you, although it might have taken a while

Just got back from the Taffy Dakar.  Absolutely awesome weekend three nights of partying, two full on days trail riding, roughly 200 mile ride each way on a borrowed DR250 (My TTR 250 started making ominous noises last week so a mate lent me his bike, cheers Paul you're a star).  I am absolutely bolloxed now but it was well worth it.  The Taffy team put on a excellent do and we met some cracking people over the course of the weekend.  If you are into off road riding I would highly recommend it.  There were people on everything from Honda 90s to Triumph Explorers, no Stelvios this year though.
Cheers Jak
Everyday is a good day to ride a bike, but some days are better than others.

I knew that I could depend on you Bruv and that you would always  have my best interests at heart in respect of the CentauroLOL

Well, I'm doubly upset now I've seen the pics. She's a beauty: a classic in the making.

Took the Centauro for an MOT and had my last ride out on it.

She passed with no advisories and the 20 mile round trip reminded me of what a stonkingly good engine this 4 valve in the Centauro and Daytona is. Very enjoyable but time to move on.Cry

Went out to scrub the clutch and tyres in, this was my first outing on the old girl, and  enjoyed it! very surprised with the handling, very responsive for a big bike, but still need your wits about you to!

Just need to re torque nut and bolts, few oil leaks, but considering the bike has been left fro so long, all in very good order, its a good testament to the Guzzi!

Struggling with tick over, think i may need to up the sizes of the pilot jet, ive increased the main jet for the Lafrans, and runs fine....just tick over is poor.

Heres a vid, i just like listening  to the note of those pipes, rubbing sound is the pads up against a rusty rear disc....cleaning up nicely though.

Sounds alright!

You shouldn't need to change any jets except mains as cited, either pilot jets are partially blocked or idle screws not out far enough, or throttle stops too low.
