Got round to sorting out the lower right fairing bracket, as it was holding the skirt too far out,  and now have the new steering damper to fit for which I need to remove the fairing.  While that is off I intend to rehash the warning lights as I’m not happy with my existing solution.  The new down pipes and H piece have transformed the appearance of the bike, and generally speaking it’s looking good.
The right hand switch gear is from a Yamaha and unfortunately the cables are a bit short, which means the main connector block pulls out from under the tank when turning the bars.  It’s not a major problem, but I’d prefer the block to be tucked away where it should be. The handlebars have lost the shine, the chrome being tatty, as are the levers,  so I may invest in a new bar assembly.

Today was dry and bright and the temperature reached 5 deg C so I washed three bikes, the car and the trailer. Tonight I shall mainly be drinking Glenfiddich as a reward.

Looks like Christmas has come early in the form of a lovely new pair of Silentium Shark Fins for the V7 Sport! They were a long time coming from Turin but got there in the end!
Should really start thinking about presents for the wife and family soon! Wacko

Ah yes ! Christmas ...
Call me old fashioned but it's a time for giving, and it's more blessed to give than to receive.

So this year I'm going to give myself something REALLY nice.

But of course you won't be able to receive it.

Took a ride out to Hitchcock's Royal Enfield emporium this morning on the 850GT. A bit cold but not too bad.The roads were filthy and I think salty, so on arrival back home I hosed the old nail down as a precaution.
Exciting morning wot??

Beautiful shot, sorry about the insomnia.
I had it too in England in winter, I used to wake up every couple of days ...

Great shot. Could be an original brochure pic!
It must also be nice riding through London really early, before the rush! Smile
