I don't know whether this is to do witha windows 10 / firefox update but it used to be the case that I could see which threads had new posts as they were in bold. When I read them they reverted to standard weight so I could see what I'd read. Now they stay bold even when read. Any ideas?

I run Windows 10 with Edge as my browser and nothing has changed for me having just had a Windows update yesterday.

Interesting. I run Firefox and am having the same problem. Must be something to do with the update. It will be caching the page then going back to that cached page when you go back. Now to find out how to change it.

I have a sort of opposite problem.
When I navigate away from the forum all posts will be marked as read so when I come back later only posts newer than last visit will be highlighted.

Hi drøn. I have that as well (or did have) - I just learned not to navigate away. Brian - sounds right - if and when you find out what it is I'm sure you'll let us know.

I note that the last Firefox update release was June 3rd, which would be about the time this started to happen. |

I've seen that frequently, and over some years. Also it tells me that I'm the one who's make the new posts, yes because I've just typed them! Latest Firefox V 77.0.1 on latest updated Windows 10 |

Well I asked on the Firefox/Mozilla help forum, but not had any helpful answers yet. Get the impression that Firefox blame WebWiz and Webwiz blame Firefox. I'm going to pluck up the courage to reinstall the earlier version to see if that cures it. On 77.0.1 at the moment. Will try to go back to 76. If I don't appear here for some time, you will know it's screwed up totally.

I've just tried firefox 76.1 and it does what it should (ie unbolding topics when I've read them). Now gone back to 77 as it lost my bookmarks for some reason. So definitely a firefox issue.
