That’s just cruel! What I’d give to be out on roads like that, on the Guzzi, no kids, followed by a real Texan BBQ and a couple of beers.
Cold and blowy here today! Oh well! One day maybe! Ermm

If you find yourself in Texas, there are some great riding destinations in the northern part of the state (Palo Duro Canyon), the central part of the state (Hill Country), and the southern part of the state (South Padre Island). But, I think, the best Texas destination of all is the Big Bend, specifically Big Bend National Park and the surrounding areas. Monumental West Texas beauty, with an incredible mix of wide open spaces and "mountains" shooting up from the ground. Plus some of the nicest people you will ever meet. Add some great food and seemingly endless winding roads, and you have a winner. Best of all, as it is Texas, you can enjoy it (almost) all year round!
