Yes, on a vehicle which is OBD compliant. Bikes are generally not.

Presuambly still needs the hardware to plug into the car?
I have a Bluetooth OBD device and an app which runs on an old tablet. Can't remember which app I use, but my iPhone is fussy about which version of Bluetooth hence the tablet.

Doesn't always allow me to fix the fault, but has done on a couple of occasions.

Well unless it is OBD2 complient, the software will be useless.

Since there has never been a requirement for bikes to be included in the EOBD system, it's unlikely.

I got that exact same thing for the Ural, which is OBD2.

Only used it once so far tho, to see if it works. Uses a Bluetooth adaptor and I had to make the connection lead.
