Sorry, I have done many searches and come up with many answers...
What is the quantity per leg for V50iii fork oil ?.
I have found answers from 61ml >140ml so confusion reigns.
I am ok with the ‘what’ and the ‘how to’ it’s just the HOW MUCH

My workshop manual stipulates 0.07 l ATF per leg for the V50/3 but it depends on whether you have the original oil/pneumatic forks.
However the full wording from the reassembly chapter says
Introduce in the hydraulic dampers 0.70cc of ATF
and 0.60cc in oil pneumatic dampers
and 0.90cc in oil pneumatic dampers of mod V35C, V50C, V65 and V65SP
This is an exact quote from my manual
I have always had oil pneumatics on my three V50/3s so 60cc is what I used and played around with the air pressure up to 3Kg/sqcm + or - 1 because I never had pneumatic on the rear.
Whatever you do they still want to shake your teeth loose

My workshop manual just says 60cc of ATF through the space existing between the inner diameter of the fork arm and the shock absorber body.
This is for thee Monza/III. Oil pneumatic damper.

No alternative.

The earlier V50/II takes 70cc.

Reading about it, putting the fluid in that way seems a real faff, could I use a syringe and tube and just squeeze it through the bottom hole where the damper retaining bolt goes into ?

Don't see why not, provided you don't ruin the location of that key.

You then got to stop the oil running out while you put the bolt back in?

I tried squirting the ATF back up the bleed holes of my Spada, because I couldn't get the caps off. Turns out, you still got to get the caps off to let the air in to let the old oil run out. You guessed it mine hadn't, so I ended up with too much oil in and solid hydrolocked forks. So still had to do it "the hard way". Sometimes there are no shortcuts.

Not if you do it with the fork leg off the bike and invert it.

That`s the easy way to get the oil in but it`s such a faff dismantling the front end of the bike to get the legs out, luckily you may only do it once in your ownership.

All done, new seals and gaiters, as the forks had been dismantled I just put them upside down in a workmate, atf went in a treat, new copper washers with a bit of sealant and we are sorted.
