If uploading, the editor's 'Insert Image' box says: "Images must be of the type, jpg, jpeg, gif, png, and have a maximum file size of 400 KB" So need to be resized first if the byte count is larger than that. By and large, .jpg offers smallest file size compression. If the picture is from somewhere else on the net, it must have a valid path to the actual image file in the form: http: // domain.name / sub_paths_if_any / filename.ext (remove spaces) Again 'ext' must be a valid image file type extension, jpg, gif, png, etc. |

I resize a picture so that it’ll fit, I upload it and then get the message
“Unable to locate picture in current location” Where am I going wrong Brian? |

Which picture are you trying to post? You must have about 20 in your file storage area. If I can identify the one you want I can see if I can post it.

I've got pics of my bike in my ipad and I want to put them on this PC so I've got to upload them. I know I will have to put them onto a Host site but which is simplest. I have done a search but I can't find the one that's in my head although I'll know it when I see it. I think.

Or just email yourself, or best, plug the iPad charger lead into the pc usb, authorise file sharing, (it’ll ask,) and then copy paste from the iPad to the pc. The other way is not so simple iirc.
