Thought I'd quieten down those tappets. Took the air filter lid off, I know it's an odd way to get to them, and found these...
We can deal with the multi-connector later, but Nuts! What am I missing. I feel as though I've just had nothing better to do but put nuts in the air filter and make up a post about it! I tell you, I'm well confused on this one! Filter looks really clean though! Tappets are done.

No. But I live with a chimpanzee. When she gets in I'll ask her.

I think is those type of comments I make is why I'm single. Somebody to share my life with and vacuum. My place is a sh!t tip.
Yesterday evening when I saw them I did get a shock. So bizarre it real was. I searched for reasons behind Peanuts in Air Filters and got "squirrels" etc... Last night I wasn't thinking about the air box just the tappets, get them done before it's too dark. But there is a way in through the top of the airbox. Tight though as there's also ABS in the way. Maybe straight off a bird feeder (not mine) and straight to the Breva. It's stood for a while now. The alternative is, like you say. Bizarre. |

I found peanuts on top of the filter in my BMW R80RT, and due to the very small apertures on the intake, the only beastie that could be responsible would be a mouse, certainly not a squirrel, unless of course he rolled them down the tube without having thought about how he’d retrieve them. A friend with same model BMW found a mouse nest in his filter housing, so my moneys on Mickey or Minnie

Actually, thinking of the original issue, mice are more likely, as I can't see a squirrel getting in there.

My guess is mice; I've seen similar inside washing machines, and refrigeration, located in outhouses and garages etc. There is, though, usually some other evidence - chewed-up stuff, and 'faecal matter' . I initially opened the the title post 'Peanuts -Breva 1100' in the expectation of seeing a competitively priced motorcycle for sale.

My neighbour made me laugh when I told him. He's a bit of a Guzzi officianardo and told me they're an original performance item with Guzzi Part Number
So I had to! Reasonable price.
Not with all those performance additions |
