So far as I know they are only a standard oil seal, if you know the dimentions, any bearing stockist will sell them. Need to know the diameter of the fork leg, the inside diameter of the slider and the width of the seal. Otherwise Gutsibits?

Ok
I will try and find dimensions. Gutsibits seem a tad expensive but until i find sizes cant compare. Craig |

'Proper' Fork Seals will often have two Sealing Lips, not just the one you get with Generic Oil Seals (Rotary Shaft Seals).
They may both be 'pressure' Sealing Lips, or one pressure seal, and one dust seal. Edited by Doc. - 08 Nov 2019 at 20:54 |

No, no need to strip them.
I like to, just to check the Bushes, and give everything a good clean-up, but you can just drain them and re-fill. Bear in mind that there are lots of small passages and 'Nooks-and-Crannies' in the Damping Assemblies, so let them drain for a good hour or so. Also, there will be some Oil trapped in various places, due to the design, so once you've done the initial upside-down draining, turn them back the right way up, pump them a few times, then drain them upside-down again. I'd do that at least three times. You'll never get every last drop out obviously, but the tiny amount left won't do any harm to the fresh Oil. Some RWU Forks used to have Drain Plugs in the Sliders, which made it a lot easier to drain them, but I don't think the Breva Forks have them?
